Maya loves to do art projects. She is creating increasingly detailed drawings by hand and with the Paint Brush program on the computer. Many of her drawings feature princesses.

Maya's class hatched a lot of praying mantis babies. Maya got to bring three home. She named her mantis Lisa and released her in our garden so she could eat the bad bugs.

Grandma Judy and Papa Mike came for Shane's birthday. Maya was disappointed that Shane got an icecream cake because she doesn't like icecream.

We walked the 5k Race for the Cure. Maya walked the whole way without complaining but was disappoint that there were no bagels at the end.

Maya was excited to see Mom's students at the graduation party. She was especially glad that Rob came back for graduation. She liked playing with the light sabers that Mom brought back from the SCS diploma ceremony.

Maya is a CMU graduate now! She graduated from the CMU Children's School and is ready to move on to first grade. She enjoyed the graduation celebration and the picnic that followed. She even managed to check out a police car that happened to be near the picnic.

We went to Maryland for Great Grandma Gertie and Great Grandpa Harry's 65th anniversary celebration. We saw lots of grandma, grandpas, aunts, uncles, and cousins; took a giant family photo; had a nice dinner; and had fun playing with Papa Mike's trains.
