Watch Nina and Maya debate about the Democratic Presidential candiates!
We went to Maryland for winter break. We had a good time with our cousins at Grandma Connie's house. Building a rocket car was lots of fun. Maya and Nina enjoyed dressing up in their new princess outfits. We took the Metro downtown and went to the Air and Space Museum with Grandma Judy and Papa Mike. Cousin Ethan came to visit too.
We went back to Pittsburgh and made a yummy chocolate dessert for New Year's Eve. Maya couldn't manage to stay up until midnight, however.
Mom got a fancy new camera and took lots of pictures of everyone.
Saturday morning gym and swim has resumed. Maya likes exercising with Jessica in the gym. We like to go to the scone house after swimming.
We have had a lot of snow in February, and Maya has had a good time sledding and building castles in the back yard.
Maya had a good time playing with Mom's students. She told Rob that she doesn't like his beard.
Maya had a good time at the family fun festival at her school.
Maya likes to wear her dresses whenever she can.
Maya enjoyed visiting the dinosaurs at the Carnegie Museum. She has been learning about dinosaurs at school. When the dinosaur unit ended, she moved on to birds. "I used to be a paleontologist, but now I am an ornithologist," she said.
Maya had a good time at the CMU Carnival. However, she didn't like the roller coaster.
Maya was a flower girl in Steve and Phoebe's wedding. She wore a fancy white dress and got a fancy hair do.
